I rarely use Digg but I use ‘others’ quite often. I think I am doing the other way around since Digg’s popularity cannot be compared over ‘others’.
BTW, who are the ‘others’?
The ‘others’ are sites with similar concepts (social news) though they are trying in vain to outclass the might Digg.
The ‘others’ I use most are:

- Slashdot.org(I heard it is losing its popularity)
- StumbleUpon.com
- Fark.com
- Reddit.com

- Simpy.com

At last, after a long wait, the iPhone is expected to be launched in India this month. Since it was announced very recently, I did not much interest the Facebook application for iPhone and what are its features.
I read in the Facebook blog that the Iphone application is already one year old and almost a year later it has over 1.5 million people using it regularly. Very impressive indeed.
But I wonder how many people in India can afford iPhone.
Ah yes, about the features, here I quote from Facebook blog:
“The bottom line is that applications built for the iPhone have access to more technology than websites. For example, with the native application you can take photos with the iPhone’s camera and upload them instantly to your Mobile Uploads album on Facebook. You’ll also find the native application is much faster than the website, giving you more reliable access to your Friends, Photos, and Inbox. ”
I am sure the youth of Bombay and Delhi will have pleasant days ahead.

I have been wanting to find all the info about CafeMom for several months and at last, after two years of their launch which coincides with this blog, I am sharing here what learnt about Cafe Mom.
CafeMom is the largest social-networking/community sites for moms, letting moms connect through cool features like photo-sharing, micro-blogging, widgets and polls.
CafeMom has recently won awards from Mashable and AlwaysOn as one of the leading social networking sites. As I am a big fan of Mashable, this increased my respect for Cafe Mom and made me register only today.

Moms have created more than 35,000 groups popular among them are pregnancy, raising boys, recipe swap, photo moms, and marriage and relationships.
CafeMom advertisers include P&G, Walmart, Playskool, Disney, HP, Kraft, General Mills, JCPenney, Johnson and Johnson, Sony, and dozens of others.
