MBT shoes for diabetic foot.

An assistant to the doctor came carrying a set of mbt shoes for my husband who has been complaining of severe pain on his soles and toes. Even though he is supposed to walk at least five KMs a day, his painful sole prevents him from even walking inside the house.

The MBT shoes (Masai Barefoot Technology) is the invention of the century. The curved sole of the shoes makes you to walk as if walking barefooted. I know that barefoot walking is the most ideal for proper blood circulation in the toes.

The design is an outcome of a careful observation of African athletes who are less prone for injuries. It is learnt that these African runners are trained to run with barefoot.

The doctor asked my husband to wear a pair of MBT shoes and try to walk initially for 15 minutes inside the house. If he feels comfortable, then he can increase his walking gradually.

I think everyone who suffers from painful sole due to diabetes should immediately try MBT shoes.
