This is news to me! I read in an article just a minute ago that a few eating disorders treatment centers are applying psychological methods to cure eating disorders. I dug in deep to gain insight just to satisfy my academic interest. I never faced eating disorders.

Psychological treatment to cure eating disorders is applied only on those who are addicted to alcohol and drugs. Personally I think this is a sensitive health issue that needs attention from highly experienced psychologists. I believe only respected rehab centers can handle this sort of treatment to cure eating disorders.

I know of a friend of my husband who was suffering from acute eating disorder for several years. Fifteen minutes after he took food, he would throw up all. He is a teetotaler. In due course, he identified what type of foods caused his ailment and avoided them. Nevertheless, he did not become alright.

My husband lost his touch with his friend. We do not know where he is now. I hope this blog post gets his attention so that he can try out this method of getting rid of eating disorders provided he is still suffering.
