I am a reasonable person; I stay that way as long as I am not forced to accept certain unreasonable proposals like term life insurance. I do not see anything beneficial in term life insurance.
Ironically, I once argued for term life insurance. After I have completed two term life insurance policies, I decided it is not for all. Only certain categories people should opt for term life insurance instead of conventional life insurance.
Term life insurance is ideal for people who like to pride themselves for leaving something behind for their spouse or children. I do not believe in this concept at all. We came into the world with nothing and do not carry anything with us.

I took the opportunity and explained why I am seriously considering changing my current vehicle insurance provider. I conveyed to him that I am looking for an insurance company that can offer various other insurance covers such as building insurance, movable property insurance and life insurance.
When I place my trust on a company for all my insurance needs, I could bargain for cheaper insurance premium. I even wanted to know if my insurance covers are portable when I have to move out of a state.

Now, I rued my behavior. Did I miss an opportunity to grab what he offered which was reasonably competitive?
Life insurance leads are the bread and butter for insurance agents and I have seen them to compete fiercely to get them. Insurance sales executives will pay money or buy gifts to other insurance agents who are willing to pass on life insurance leads.
But why would they be willing to sell insurance leads?
Some leads would have been tapped already but found to be not interested in a particular insurance company. Such leads may show more interest to insurance deals with attractive options.
Insurance agents may also offer to sell insurance leads that have already been used some time before and such leads might be willing to buy one more insurance from a different company.
