I am happy to see my favorite Compaq’s netbooks priced at just $270 apiece. All the other leading manufacturers like Acer, Samsung can’t compete with Compaq’s price tag.
My first Laptop was a Compaq piece that is still showing loyalty to me though it has slowed down a lot. In the past three years, I noticed a slump in Compaq’s sales. Dell and Samsung have grabbed much of Compaq’s market share.
The new netbook from Compaq comes with 1 GB Ram and 160 GB hard disc. Of course, it is powered by Intel Atom processor. I wonder why there is no mention about its battery life. If the battery power lasts for only two hours, even I, a loyal fan of Compaq won’t buy it, however cheap it may be sold at buy.com
Come on Compaq! I wish to see you regain your brand image.
