The car insurance agent look surprised at my knowledge of insurance business in general and car insurance in particular.
I took the opportunity and explained why I am seriously considering changing my current vehicle insurance provider. I conveyed to him that I am looking for an insurance company that can offer various other insurance covers such as building insurance, movable property insurance and life insurance.
When I place my trust on a company for all my insurance needs, I could bargain for cheaper insurance premium. I even wanted to know if my insurance covers are portable when I have to move out of a state.
The insurance agent sat looking at me for sometime. Finally, he got up and rushed out of my house mumbling feebly that he will get back to me in a couple of days.
Now, I rued my behavior. Did I miss an opportunity to grab what he offered which was reasonably competitive?
