I took painful two hours to counsel a parent of one of my students who took escapism route to drown her disappointment because of her failure to get through in school final.

Her mother was in tears unashamedly because of the pathetic condition of her daughter who is advised drug rehab. The drug rehab was in process since last 25 days.

Her mother was disappointed with the results so far because her daughter did not show the expected improvement in the first 25 days. I counseled her that drug rehab is a slow process and advised patience. 25 days is too early to cure this addiction.

After all, her daughter is admitted in Sunset Malibu, known to be the best in this field. They know how to take care of their inmates by offering the most gentle and effective alcohol detox, drug addiction treatment and depression treatment.

Srirangam-the vaishanavites’ most revered place of worship is located near Trichy, Tamilnadu, India. This very small town is uniquely garlanded by mighty rivers-the Cauvery and the Kollidam. Both have different English names and spelling but I like to call them in Tamil names.

This is the website about Trichy. It contains lot of information about Trichy Schools, colleges, temples, hotels, churches, mosques, entertainment places, hills, and traveling information.

It only takes about 5 hrs to reach Trichy by fast trains from Madras, the capital of Tamilnadu state in India.

Oh, it is just an impulse to write about Rangan today. Call it a nudge from the Lord himself.

Snob? I? Not in the least ever! But I carry that degree without any reason. I am the most helpful person and I have more than a pair of flexible ears.

 But I am called a snob at my back! So be it!

 With that reputation (?) preceding me, I was gingerly approached by my neighbor to her house that she re-did partly.

 The moment I was in her premise, she became bold and lost her tentativeness and took me directly to her bathroom. Here, I hesitated. I normally pride myself on ability to maintain a bathroom that even a five star hotel housekeeping staff will openly admire.

 But my pride took a beating at last. Her bathroom was superb in every sense; the light lemon green tiles, matching square glass sink, the plumbing fixtures that gleamed, everything was just top class.

 I was particularly impressed with the color of the glass sink. That was a beautiful piece.

The lad from America has heavy accent. We both could not comprehend much of what we are saying to each other.

As we were watching television, the sound from the idiot box also made it difficult to hear what he was saying.

He is my sister-in-law’s son, born and brought up in the U.S. Suddenly he jumped at joy and what I saw on the television was not amusing to me. On the screen, a western film was going on and someone was carrying out a sort of crude operation on a horse.

My guest explained to me rather slowly combined with gestures that the horse’s leg was hurt and it was being mended.

Suddenly I remembered that my guest used to work in a horse ranch during vacation. Obviously he knew a lot about caring horses and he went on talking enthusiastically for a long time about horse breeds, horse supplies, horse ranches that he has worked so far.

Though I must admit that topic did not interest me, I appreciated his knowledge and amazed at the opportunities to learn that the U.S. offers.
