Do you blog? Get paid for it.

Completing my latest assignment from blogitive, I clicked on the title of my blog post in one of my several approved blogs to retrieve the permalink.

Habitually, my eyes went down on the footer to see what ads from Google appeared. I do this always to check the relevancy of the ad to my blog content. If I see relevant ads, then I pat myself for the good work because I know how Google algorithm works ( to some extent).

If the blog content is not well written, you either see irrelevant adwords or public service ads from Google.

So, as I checked the Google ads, I noticed the headline: “Make money by blogging”.
I know I should not click on my own adsense, so I wrote down the url and visited it.

I recognized immediately the familiar words of getting paid to blog as I see in most of other such services from whom I am getting regular blogging assignments.

The terms of this service are similar to blogitive and pays weekly through paypal. I just registered, activated my account and awaiting their approval.

Sponsored Reviews offer to bloggers.

Ξ March 19th, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Money from Blogs |

Only today morning I subscribed to a Google Alert service on topic ‘Paid to blog’.

Just after a few hours, I received an alert from Google from which I came to know about Sponsored Reviews which is like Pay per post and blogitive pays bloggers to make a blog post about their clients’ website.

It is no miracle that I keep finding such opportunities because I am guided by the laws of attractions. I have been blogging since 2005 and I have been supported by other such players in the field that include Blogitive.com, Loudlaunch.com, pay per post, Blogsvertise and a few more.
Sponsored Reviews invites bloggers to write paid reviews for products, services, and website on behalf of their clients. Avtually, their corporate clients engage the services of sponsored reviews to promote theier web sites.

I just signed up, activated my email and added my blogs. An unique feature in this process that I notices was that the submitted blog gets a rating based on Technorati, Alexa and the rating is displayed beside the blogs.

Also, based the rating, sponsored reviews suggest a fair price to charge per post and out of which they take away 35%.
Sponsored Reviews enables blog authors to browse advertisers seeking reviews to post in their blogs. This allows us the opportunity to select from the available opportunities that we are comfortable writing about.

A must for passionate travellers.

Ξ March 19th, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Travel |

See the globe is a very aptly named travel information web site and community. This web site was submitted in my web directory under Travelogues and travel tips sub category.

They provide in depth information that include reviews of hotels, restaurants, destinations and other travel resources which they claim to have compiled from first hand accounts.

Useful tools like “Where in the World is ..” country locator, dynamic packing checklist and a travel price comparison tool facilitate the process of travel planning. SeeTheGlobe.com’s RSS news feed containing original articles is read by thousands of travel enthusiasts around the world.

The left menu has Book and Video Catalog, News and Articles , Travel Directory, Travel Reviews, Travel Blogs, and Find Travel A Travel Agen- a wide array of very useful tools.

I read a post on Sisley Restaurant in the Westside Pavilion on Pico, Los Angeles, which is very well written and sure it is a first hand information.

The web site is huge with excellent reviews and articles; A must for passionate travellers.

A widgets directory. Great fun.

Ξ March 14th, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Widgets |

Until recently, I did not even knew the meaning of widgets and how one use it in their websites or blogs.

Blog Carnival’s widget was the first one I think from which I could deduce the usefulness of widgets.

Now I am really fascinated by widgets and here is one widget box that I bookmarked.
Widgetbox is a directory and syndication platform for web widgets for blogs and other web pages. Their widgets work with TypePad, WordPress, Blogger, MySpace as well as most other blogs, sidebars or websites. No plug-ins are needed, and they’re free!

Categorised under communications, blogosphere, fun and games, media etc, the widgets listed are fantastic and useful too. Just have a look at this widget that can display a slideshow of Widgetbox’s Latest Widgets on your blog. These are the Latest Widgets as shown on the front door of Widgetbox.

I read some of the press releases about widget box and could see they are now very popular in cyber space.

A web directory of professionals.

Ξ March 13th, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Directory Review |

This is a unique directory that I have come across in my one year of operating a web directory.

In this directory one can search and find millions of white collar professionals like doctors, lawyers, teachers and many more. This is a web directory of professionals in the U.S.

It is easy to find a qualified, reliable professional using referrals from your network of friends. Getting referrals from friends and family can be time consuming, especially if someone refers you to another person for that referral.

WhitecollarFinder provides nation wide listings for many service professions. All listings are indexed and searchable to provide each member the ability to locate professionals in any particular area of the United States. Users can locate a good pediatrician in Seattle, WA ; an experienced lawyer in New York City or a trusted accountant in Miami, FL. The site makes it fast and easy to find quality professionals anywhere in the United States.
The WhitecollarFinder web site is one of many web properties owned and operated by their parent site Mydrew.com.

Blog carnivals are great traffic boosters.

Ξ March 10th, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Blog Promotion, Income Opportunities, Money from Blogs |

This idea may be not all that popular but I will tell you it is very very effective to propogate your blog.

A Blog Carnival is a particular kind of blog community. There are many kinds of blogs, and they contain articles on many kinds of topics. Blog Carnivals typically collect together links pointing to blog articles on a particular topic. A Blog Carnival is like a magazine. It has a title, a topic, editors, contributors, and an audience. Editions of the carnival typically come out on a regular basis (e.g. every monday, or on the first of the month). Each edition is a special blog article that consists of links to all the contributions that have been submitted, often with the editors opinions or remarks.

There is so much stuff in the blog-o-sphere, just finding interesting stuff is hard. If there is a carnival for a topic you are interested in, following that carnival is a great way to learn what bloggers are saying about that topic. If you are blogging on that topic, the carnival is the place to share your work with like-minded bloggers.

is the place to come to find carnivals you are interested in, to submit your blog articles to carnivals where they belong, and to organize and maintain carnivals.

Since blog carnivals include lots of posts on specific topics, they also serve as a place to connect with those who are expert (or at least highly opinionated!) and those who are interested in that field.

View a sample carnival:Education Wonk

There is so much friends but I will let you to read it all by yourself at http://blogcarnival.com/bc. I am trying to put a widget in my sidebar which will display dynamically all the carnivals that are taking place. This is a javascript to be inserted here which I don’t know how.I put a widget on the topic ‘Blog and Earn’ in my blog ‘Website Reviews’. This will give you an idea of the widget.

Instatnt traffic to your blog guaranteed.

Ξ March 3rd, 2007 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Blog Directories, Blog Promotion |

I was pleasantly surprised to find about this blog traffic exchange website by accident. It is called Blog Soldiers and they also operate a blog directory.

First I joined in their traffic exchange program, listed my two blogs and surfed. I am a bit disappointed to note that they have have not yet approved my blogs. I suppose they are enjoying their week end.

Next, I submitted this very blog in their blog directory. The submission was very easy but they expect a reciprocal link which I obliged.

One thing I noticed in their traffic exchange program when I surfed was I noticed some extradinary blogs with stunning designs and colors. I resolved to browse more slowly today.
